Hubby took me out on a "date" the other night. A place called Docker's..., it's right on the water and the food is awesome. We had a sitter, we got there before sunset and they had the best dinner special!!! Lobster with mussels, clams, corn... etc. the works.

I have lobster on the brain and can't seem to get rid of it...

Mmmm. I love lobster. Don't want to look 'em in the eye though, but still love them. I found this great photo of the lobster with the wedding bands and the inspiration board (below) for a Lobster Themed Wedding! Aren't they yummy? I think the look is just so fun and fresh!

Ok, so it's been a while since my last post.

I would like to blame "The Holidays"; and the stress of a sick, beloved, 12 year old dog..., but it's really my own state of mind that kept me from writing positive and happy things. When one doesn't feel positive or happy, it's difficult... but guess what?

I'm back!

I get these daily emails from Skirt.com, called the Daily Muse. I wanted to share this one, because I am mesmerized by this lovely bracelet. (Somehow, while attempting to post it, I took myself OFF their mailing list... I'll have to work on that one.)

Cover your Ass-ets

The excitement of your new engagement ring..., the sparkle..., the way it looks on your hand..., have you stopped looking at it yet?

I used to stare at mine (see photo: Tiffany Round Brilliant Ribbon Ring, photo care of Kaboodle.com) while holding the steering wheel and driving. The way it would shimmer was mesmerizing!

Have you Covered Your Asset yet?

A lot of people don't think to do this. Call your insurance agent. Get a "PAP", which is a "Personal Articles Policy." It is relatively inexpensive and will cover things that your Homeowners Insurance policy won't. (Don't tell me you don't have that either... even if you rent, you can get coverage for your Personal Property.)

It is worth saying again. Call your insurance agent. I am not praising one insurance company over another. Just do it. Chances are your ring was a "big nut" for your fiance. Think of how impressed he will be that you are taking such good care of this important symbol of your new life together!
