eh... that's what I thought too when I first saw it. I pulled it out of the magazine and headed over to Alfred Angelo. But when I tried it on, it was SOOOOO heavy!!! WAY to heavy to be comfortable in on the beach. But looks wise, yeah, it's pretty much perfect for an island wedding. Maybe someone who knows a good seamstress could get them to make this dress in a lighter fabric, like an antique lace! ooh, how cute would that be!?

Megan..., now that you say that, it does kind of LOOK heavy, doesn't it? Kind of thick...
I like your idea of a seamstress making one though. That way you have a "one of a kind" dress and it's in the exact fabric you want.
