I had such a fantastic weekend!

Friday night I went out to dinner with an old friend. (see "friends" ) She lives in Brooklyn and I live "Out East" on Long Island, so we met in the middle in Garden City (The Roosevelt Field Mall, to be exact.)

Well, I had some time to kill and I had to find a bathroom so I entered the mall!!! Haven't been there in ages! I got so lost in the maze of "mall-ness"... there was no T.P. in any of the stalls (thank goodness for baby wipes)...

...then I saw it.

Right in front of me was the place I've been dying to go to for a while now.

You like candy? Dylan's Candy Bar was right there! At the mall!!! I only thought it was in the Hamptons or NYC!!!! Turns out they are in HOUSTON AND ORLANDO too.

They offer not only all types of candy, but stuff you haven't seen in years! They also ship... and have great gift baskets and WEDDING FAVORS!!! Check out some of their fun stuff.






Needless to say, I wandered through this great shop and was late for dinner. Even though I was early. Oh well. Friends understand these things!
