Someone very close to me is in South Beach right now..., enjoying the beach and "tasty sandwiches!" This was my first attempt at a Polyvore.com board! You can do one of these for our contest too.

2010 MIW Inspiration Board Contest!

The long awaited My Island Wedding Inspiration Board Contest has finally arrived!

We had 2 very successful ones last year and this will be the first of two for 2010.

Pictured above is the prize for the winner. I was inspired by Disney this time..., it includes:

* A Studio Collection Mickey Mouse Fantasia photo album. (Holds 40 4x6" photographs.)

* A charming boxed set of 16 Snow White note cards (4 each of 4 designs) along with a keepsake box.

* and a Studio Collection Alice in Wonderland Lined Journal with adorable graphics of the Cheshire Cat, the Mad Hatter, the White Rabbit, the Queen of Hearts and Alice on every page!


The rules are as follows:

1. ANYONE CAN ENTER UP TO 3 BOARDS;

2. CONTEST BEGINS NOW AND WILL END MIDNIGHT ON TUESDAY, MAY 11TH;

3. YOU MUST "TITLE/NAME" EACH ONE;

4. YOU MUST POST IT ON YOUR BLOG/SITE (WITH SOURCES) AND LINK BACK TO "MY ISLAND WEDDING"; (Don't have a blog? Don't worry. Just email me the image, and we will work it out!)

5. THEN E-MAIL ME OR COMMENT HERE WITH YOUR LINK TO YOUR POST/BOARD.

6. THE SOONER I GET YOUR BOARDS, THE LONGER THEY WILL BE SHOWN ON THE LIST (AS THEY WILL BE LISTED IN THE ORDER I RECEIVE THEM.)

7. THEY MUST BE "WEDDING RELATED" (oh, not totally) AND CAN BE YOUR DREAM WEDDING, A FANTASY WEDDING, JUST A REALLY FUN/FUNKY WEDDING, OR A REALLY VERY SIMPLE WEDDING!!! IT'S UP TO YOU! NO RULES HERE, JUST YOUR IMAGINATION!

Midnight tonight, New York time, is the deadline to enter the My Island Wedding Inspiration Board contest!!!

The winner of our First Wedding Inspiration Board Contest Brenda, from Brenda's Wedding Blog, has been patiently awaiting the arrival of her prize. Well Brenda, my "Vacation Mentality" has finally gone away... and I got my butt down to the Post Office this morning.

I hope to see an entry (or 3) in our next contest soon!!!





And for those of you who heard I was anxiously awaiting my sandwich all the way from South Beach, Florida... (see "camembert")... my hubby came back home last night. Just in time for me to have one last night (and another one today!!!)



The photo doesn't even come close to showing how absolutely "Tasty" this sandwich truly is. The Margarita went quite nicely with it as well!
