juicy

One of my many new year's resolutions is to eat better. More whole foods and less salt, preservatives, etc...

Well, I bought us a juicer!

Loving it so far!!!

Anyone have any favorite recipes?

Here's to a Happy and Healthy New Year all!!!!

omigosh. we did too..on new years day! it's been hard to find a delicious, can't-wait-to-drink recipe...so we do our best to balance the bitterness of spinach, parsley, and celery by adding a little sweetness..like a mango, or pear. so far my absolute fav is so yummy, it tastes like a sherbert:

4 oranges
4 carrots
(makes enough for 2)

enjoy!

How funny, I did too, I am using it for the first time this morning. Hope you had a wonderful New Year. Look forward to seeing more of your blog in 2010.

Is that a breville? Martha Stewart says it is the best.

My hubby and I are big juicers, and now I notice I get sick when I stop juicing! I have tons of recipes for you. Really I like to mix it up and just buy different fruit each time. But one good one is:

1/2 cantelope
2 apples
2 kiwis
1 handful of strawberries

You can also throw in some green grapes, pears or anything else you fancy, the best part is experimenting!
